home and abroad mainly come from the graphite cutting debris produced by the processing of graphite electrode in the carbon industry.There are not many companies that specialize in Advanced carburant, and they are not very professional.
However,the output of graphite electrode cutting is limited by the production of graphite electrode, which can not meet the needs of the international market.At the same time, the contents of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur in graphite cutting debris is also affected by different types of raw materials and graphite electrodes, and the content of trace elements is not very stable, which also brings some difficulties to the stability of the smelting process of special steel and alloy steel.Therefore, the stable production of Advanced carburant is also a project with great potential.With the world's demand for energy saving and emission reduction, high quality products and the beautification and optimization of the production environment, a new Advanced carburant production equipment and process is also very necessary.
Our Advantages
We have done a lot of development and experimental work in this area, and made great progress. We have developed the vertical continuous production equipment for advanced carburant and process technology which is currently in a leading position at home and abroad.
Its main core technical features are:
1. The requirements for raw materials are not as strict as the traditional technical requirements. Ordinary medium sulfur petroleum coke and even high sulfur petroleum coke can also be used as its main raw material. When use high sulfur petroleum coke as the raw material , equipment investment will be increased, production capacity decreased, and production costs increased including the consumption of productive raw materials,such as lime consumption, which is the raw material required for desulfurization, which is greatly increased in the case of high sulfur raw materials.
2. The production process is continuous and stable, unlike the intermittent production of traditional production process.
3. It is convenient and feasible for the discharge and collection of impurities in the production process, from the original unorganized discharge to continuous and stable centralized discharge, which is convenient for collection and treatment.
4. The waste heat can be fully utilized. The discharged flue gas can be used for waste heat power generation, and the cooling water can be used for staff bathing and office heating and factory heating.
Main design scheme
Process scheme: the main process routes are as follows:
1.1 According to the proportion of volatile matter in raw materials,mix the pre-calcined petroleum coke and
post-calcined petroleum coke in proportion to make the ratio of volatile matter close to 8%, so as to so as to ensure stable operation in the process of raw material calcination . The raw materials shall be heated to 800-1000 ºC in a tank furnace to reduce the volatile matter in raw materials to less than 1%.
The main purpose of the calcination process is to reduce the volatile matter.
1.2 Crush and screen the calcined petroleum coke, remove the fine materials which particle size is less than 0.5mm,
and crush the particles larger than 20mm.
1.3 The post-calcined petroleum coke conforming to the particle size range is graphitized, and the sulfur separation
is completed in the graphitization process. The graphitization process of post-calcined petroleum coke
by vertical continuous high temperature graphitization furnace has two main functions: on the one hand, it can decompose nitrogen, phosphorus sulfur and other harmful substances of calcined petroleum coke at high temperature, and at the same time,it can decompose and discharge the trace elements in calcined petroleum coke .On the other hand, the carbon elements in the disordered form in post-calcined petroleum coke are integrated, and the arrangement of carbon atoms and carbon atoms is integrated into graphite structure, which has relative stability.
Graphite material is an allotrope of a kind of carbon element. Graphitization is the process of transforming raw
materials from amorphous carbon to graphite at high temperature.
The lowest transformation temperature is about 2300 ºC.The transformation temperature is closely related to the speed and degree of graphitization. The comprehensive and rapid graphitization temperature should reach more than 3000 ºC, and the heating process is carried out in an atmosphere isolated from oxygen.
1.4 The separated sulfur was desulfurized in high tail gas.
1.5 Qualified carburant after graphitization shall be crushed,screened and packaged.
Composition of main equipment
2.1 Storage and transfer equipment for raw materials and semi-finished products . Such as bucket elevator, horizontal
screw conveyor, belt conveyor, vibration feeder and vibration conveyor, wind conveyor, etc.
2.2 Calcination furnace:to complete the calcination process of petroleum coke, and its important task is to remove the
volatile matter in the raw materials. The calcination furnace adopts continuous discharge mode, which is characterized by energy saving and high efficiency. Raw materials is required to be 6000 tons / year.
2.3 Graphitization furnace: a new type of internal heated vertical continuous graphitization furnace is used in this
project to produce advanced carburant by using post-calcined petroleum coke. Its characteristics are: the strong dc current directly acts on the production raw materials, the use of its
own conductive resistance to make the material heating, so that its temperature quickly increased to the graphitization
temperature of nearly 3000 ºC, so as to generate graphite products.At the same time, volatiles, ash and other impurities are discharged under high temperature environment.
It is characterized by energy saving, high efficiency,environmental protection and high yield; The capacity of a
single furnace is about 10tons per day when the sulphur content of petroleum coke is 1%-3%. The capacity of a single furnace s about 6- 7tons per day or even lower when the sulphur content of petroleum coke is 7%-8%. The specific capacity is directly related to the sulfur content in raw materials.
Vertical continuous graphitization furnace is the core equipment of the project. The use of vertical continuous
graphitization furnace has the characteristics of power saving, small investment and convenient waste gas recovery.
2.4 Desulfurization device can be selected according to output and sulfur content in raw materials.
2.5 Cooling circulating water system.
2.6 Dust removal system: recycle the dust generated at each material transfer point during the production process and
improve the production and working environment.
2.7 Waste heat utilization part: this part is specially designed in combination with the utilization characteristics
of heat energy of the project investment unit.
